Kimberley Walsh 'flying' solo
Kimberley has never denied her love for musical theatre. For TV show 'Passions of Girls Aloud' she took on musical theatre as her passion, where she had vocal lessons to appear in hit musical Les Miserables in London's West End. Kimberley also played Princess Fiona in 'Shrek The Musical'. 'I've always loved musical theatre and doing Shrek: The Musical definitely re-ignited the passion in me. I really wanted to share the love I have for musical theatre by taking some classic songs and completely reinventing them.'
Talking of the album Kimberley says, 'The melodies in so many musical songs are so brilliant I knew we could create something special by experimenting with the production and I really feel like we've come up with some interesting takes on classic songs.' |
Girls Aloud might be back together after announcing they would be doing a nationwide tour to celebrate the girls 10 year anniversary as a girl group, but this isn't stopping member Kimberley from doing her own thing.
Following her successful stint on 'Strictly Come Dancing' Kimberley looks graceful and elegant in her new solo video. It's very different to what we see from her in Girls Aloud, who's big comeback wasn't that big. Comeback single 'Something New' hit Number 2 in the charts but their greatest hits album 'Ten' only climbed to Number 9 in the official charts. Kimberley has covered single 'One Day I'll Fly Away' as she attempts to launch her solo career. Walsh recorded her solo album, 'Centre Stage' in the summer and announced she was working with producers such as Per Magnusson and David Kreuger. |
Will.i.am and Britney Bitch!
It's landed! Last night will.i.am and X Factor USA judge Britney Spears launched the new video for their new single 'Scream and Shout'.
It was an X Factor exclusive. We played you the song a couple of weeks ago and loved it. Now we love it more as we have the video to match. Britney has been teasing us on Twitter with snapshots of herself taken from the video. If anything, we love how Brit has taken on our British accent but KiNGSiZE would love to see her do some more dancing! The star still looks confident and sexy in the video, something viewers and journalists have slammed her for whilst on the X Factor with fellow judges, Demi Lovato, LA Reid and Simon Cowell. It's a big hit for us! Is Britney back...... AGAIN? |

NEW MUSIC
Rihanna has released another new album this week and she isn't sorry. The 'Unapologetic' singer has teamed up with David Guetta for the second single set to be released from the album, the follow up from lead single Diamonds. Just when you thought RiRi was calming down and changing the paste with her new tracks, 'Right Now' does the oppositie. Infact, we want it to be Saturday night right now please, after listening to this! We like!
GIRLS ALOUD
Aswell as being very good at being popstars, bringing out their own make up range, dancing on Strictly and looking absolutely stunning all the time. KiNGSiZE have discovered that Girls Aloud are also extremely good at teasing us too.
First, it was a huge Twitter countdown to keep us all guessing what the news was, eventually it was announced they would be touring the UK again (screams), they are also giving us this years BBC Children in Need single, 'Something New'. We love the song here at KiNGSiZE, playing it at any given opportunity, stomping through the office. It's not your typical Children In Need track but set to be a big chart hit for the girls. Nadine, Sarah, Kimberley, Cheryl and Nicola were back teasing us on Twitter yesterday, tweeting, 'Right now the whole world could call me ugly, so what, to you, I’m not' #beautifulcauseyouloveme 'Staring into the basin I've been washing my face in, jet black mascara racing' #BeautifulCauseYouLoveMe Before you jump to conclusions, Girls Aloud aren't writing a poetry book in time for Christmas, these are infact lyrics to another new track that will appear on the girls anniversary album, 'TEN'. Much slower and softer compared to 'Something New', some say more appealing for Children In Need. KiNGSiZE love the girls doing the sexier and faster tracks. Have a listen to both tracks (opposite) and vote in our poll below. Do you like the girls doing the slower tracks more? Were just glad the gorgeous five piece are back in force, remember to get your copy of the BBC Children in Need single. Released 18th Nov. |

SCREAM AND SHOUT
It feel's like years since we heard Will.i.am is set to release new album 'Willpower', We can tell you it is finally set to be released in December. KiNGSiZE are thrilled to be bringing you his track with Britney, who will feature on the album. The two who recently hooked up together for Judges Houses for X Factor USA have been excited to showcase this new track and it was certainly worth the wait. It's Brit doing what she does best. This is 'Scream and Shout' Can we have the video now please?
One Direction and some puppies.
Rihanna knows how to push those buttons
@badgalriri Instagram
Rihanna tweeted the final track listing to her upcoming album, Unapologetic, on Tuesday. What she is so good at doing is pushing people's buttons, and if anybody was paying attention to the names featured on the duets it was that one name everyone wishes she would chuck in the trash.
Chris Brown is featured on track number ten, Nobodies Business, which is apt considering how everybody is so bothered that she is still in love with this guy. She even tweeted a snippet of the track which was later removed but is still on YouTube which you can check out below.
KiNGSiZE is sure that Unapologetic will debut straight in at number one on the album charts when it's released on November 19, as everyone scrambles to get copy to hear the full version of track ten.
Will you be pre-ordering your copy of Rihanna's fourth album or are you sick of the hype surrounding the 'are they aren't they' couple?
